Import Songs to iTunes to Transfer Them to an iPod

The iTunes media software lets you handle the metadata of the songs you want to place on your ipod prior to they go onto your ipod. ITunes customers can buy songs from Apple's iTunes shop, or they can import songs saved on their computer and on CDs into the iTunes software in a couple of easy actions.

Import from a CD

Double-click on the iTunes software icon to start the software and insert the CD that you want to import songs from into the computer's disc generate.
