Transfer Music from an iPod to iTunes Software on a Mac

Customers of the ipod who want to reveal their music with a computer are mostly out of luck---with 1 exception. Music on an ipod that was bought via the iTunes shop can be transferred back again to a computer's iTunes applications. Other music, this kind of as from a CD, that has been additional to an ipod can't be moved from an ipod to a computer. Transferring purchases to a Mac requires just a couple of moments and will allow you to pay attention to the music on your computer or burn up a CD.

Open iTunes on your computer and go to the "Retailer" tab in the menu to authorize the computer, if you have not previously completed so. The computer is authorized by clicking "Authorize Computer" in the "Shop" tab, then getting into your Apple ID and password.

Hook up your ipod to the Mac with the USB cable that arrived with the system.

Click the identify of your ipod in the sidebar, positioned along the left side of the display screen. Proper-click or handle-click and then pick "Transfer Purchases From (Your Identify) ipod" from the menu. A sync will commence that copies music from the ipod into iTunes.

Wait around until finally the sync is complete just before you get rid of your ipod from the USB cable. A message at the best of iTunes will let you know when the sync has carried out efficiently.
